The Essentials of Assessment: Developing an Integrated Program to Assess the CanMEDS Roles
This intimate workshop is designed specifically for program directors and clinical teachers, and through an interactive presentation style, workshop facilitators will introduce key elements of an integrated assessment program and will guide participants in solving real world assessment challenges. Facilitated by experts from across North America, at the end of this workshop participants will be able to:
- Map educational objectives to appropriate assessment instruments.
- Aggregate diverse sources of data (e.g. extra-clinical vs. clinical, performance-based vs. simulation, quantitative vs. qualitative) into common themes.
- Layout a global assessment program.
