Please note, in aligning with this year’s theme and in an effort to “go green”, ICRE 2014 will not be offering printed programs onsite. Don’t have a smartphone? Don’t worry! A limited number of program supplements will be available, as well as several desktop computers to access the program online.
ICRE2014 will also not be providing participants with briefcases.
The Conference takes place at the Allstream Centre, which is located at 105 Princes’ Blvd in Toronto. For those participants staying at one of the conference hotels, the Intercontinental Toronto Centre is located at 225 Front Street West, and the Fairmont Royal York is located at 100 Front Street West.

Shuttles will be available to take participants from the Intercontinental to the Allstream Centre. Shuttle schedules will be posted in the lobby of the hotel as well as the reception area of the Allstream Centre. The trip will take approx. 25 minutes giving you a chance to sit back and relax while taking in Toronto’s downtown sights.
Onsite Registration will open October 22 at 07:00 and is located in Pre-function Hall B of the Allstream Centre.

The opening plenary session starts on Thursday, October 23 at 1600 in Hall C of the Allstream Centre. Dr. Lorelei Lingard, a professor in the Department of Medicine at Western University and the inaugural Director of the Centre for Education Research & Innovation at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, will be speaking on Collective competency: Adapting our concept of competence to healthcare teams. We encourage you to attend this dynamic plenary session, taking place immediately prior to the ICRE Welcoming Reception.
The exhibit hall will open on Thursday, October 23 at 1700. Complete your exhibit passport and qualify for the draw to win one of two iPads.

Lastly, Toronto’s weather in the fall can vary, including sunshine, rain and even snow, the latest forecast can be viewed here. You are encouraged to bring a jacket or sweater to the conference site as the temperature in meeting rooms is typically cooler.
